Tellula is a character developed by owners Katrine and Bill Formby. “We wanted to make people smile.” Tellula is actually Katrine and Bill’s 14-year old niece (Alyssa) –an aspiring actress.

Enjoy this one minute video of Tellula visiting her two favorite candy stores in Telluride: The Sweet Life and Telluride Truffle. “Our (penthouse owners, Katrine and Bill Formby) 14-year old niece (Alyssa) wants to be an actress so she volunteered to became the Tellula character for our videos. This humorous character introduces people to her favorite things in Telluride.” Tellula loves her sweets so she had a ball sampling the candy. You will see that she wears a different outrageous hat in each store chosen to “match” the spirit of the store.

Tellula loves skiing in Telluride.  Watch her amazing and hilarious transformation from falling-down-beginner skiing to black-diamond-expert skiing all in one day.  It’s easy to spot Tellula on the slopes–she is the only one wearing a cat in the hat, hat.  P.S. No one was harmed during the filming of this segment.
